What are the precautions for printed art paper

The particularity of the papermaking process makes the art paper have many specialities in the structure and function of the paper, which leads to many specialities in the printing process.

1. Ink absorption Various types of art paper have a great span of ink uptake, such as: coaster paper is very easy to absorb ink, Reini paper is easier to absorb ink, and transparent paper is difficult to absorb ink. The ink absorption of the art paper used is directly related to the quality of the printed product and the required delivery time. For paper with poor ink absorption, it may be appropriate to add a drier to the ink or take ultraviolet light curing, so as not to cause the ink to dry too slowly and cause the back surface to become dirty, blotting and other signs.

2. Lubricity In view of the differences in papermaking processes, some art papers are looser and have a lower degree of lubricity; some are tighter and have a higher degree of lubricity. In art paper, there is no lack of paper with embossed effect (such as embossed paper) and stripe pattern effect (such as bamboo textured paper).

3. Embossed paper (1) The characteristics of embossed paper adopt the trick of machine embossing or crepe paper, and the appearance of the paper or cardboard becomes a high and low pattern. The embossed paper is embossed to enhance its dressing effect and make the paper more textured.

4. Pattern paper designers and printers continue to seek a new and original design style, making masterpieces sharp. Pattern paper can make them a finishing touch at many times. Such excellent paper products have a soft touch, gorgeous appearance, and the products are more prestigious, which makes people enjoyable. There are many types of pattern paper, each with its own characteristics, and it has a higher level than ordinary paper.

First, the price is more expensive. Ordinary embossed paper is much more expensive than similar paper of the same amount. Therefore, large-volume albums printed with embossed paper cannot be experienced by customers due to price factors, so they are usually only used for the design and printing of covers or critical materials.

Second, most specialty papers have good uptake and strong penetration, but because of the uneven texture, the ink penetrates into the gap during printing, especially the large-area solid version, which is difficult to dry and simple sticky. When printing four-color overprinted characters, the tone contrast is dull. When consumers who do not love soft tones do not understand why the products printed on specialty papers are not in sufficient color, when printing on specialty papers, the abnormal printing results and customer communication must be avoided to avoid unnecessary losses.

Third, when printing on colored special paper, it should be noted that the appearance of dark special paper cannot print four-color pictures. It can only print inks with metallic smooth or spot colors, such as gold, silver, spot colors, etc.
