Sticker printing typesetting requirements
In the domestic printing industry, the main types of characters are Chinese characters, foreign characters, and ethnic characters. Chinese characters include Song, Kai, Hei, and so on. Foreign characters can be subdivided into white and black based on the thick of the characters, or normal, italic, flower, etc. according to the appearance. Ethnic characters refer to the characters used by some ethnic minorities, such as Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, and Korean.
The font size is a measure to distinguish the size of the text. The dot system is commonly used internationally, and the number system is mainly used in China, supplemented by the dot system. The number system is based on several movable characters that are not multiples of each other as a standard. According to the conversion relationship of doubling or halving, the system is self-contained. It can be divided into four-word system, five-word system, and six-word system. The smaller the nominal number of the font size, the larger the font shape. For example, the number four is larger than the number five, and the number five is larger than the number six.
The layout should be designed according to the requirements of the printed layout. For example, for the printing of a book, you need to pay attention to the size of the format, the type of layout (horizontal or vertical), the font size of the text, the number of lines per page and the number of characters in each line, and the word-to-word and line-to-line. Gaps between pages, the number of columns in the page and the number of characters in each column, the spacing between columns, the placement of page numbers and page numbers, the position and size of headers and footers, etc.
When you typeset text, you should also pay attention to some prohibition rules. For example, you must put two characters at the beginning of each paragraph. You cannot put a period, comma, colon, semicolon, colon, question mark, exclamation mark, and the following at the beginning of the line. Punctuation marks such as quotation marks, lower brackets, and book title numbers must not be placed at the end of the line with upper quotes, upper brackets, book title numbers, or serial numbers in Chinese such as ①②③, etc. Temperature identifiers and single-syllable foreign words should not be placed on the top and bottom lines separately.
